Skiers witnessed a scary moment at the Yuyang Ski Resort in Beijing, China when a chairlift malfunction and began to rollback. No injuries were reported during this Janurary 2 chairlift malfunction according to this Beijing Times article. Skiers were urged by resort staff to jump from the lift when it was close to the ground. The lift remains closed since the incident and investigation is underway.
