The premier big mountain competition each year is the Verbier Xtreme. The venue for the competition has been held on the Bec des Rosses face for 20 years and is the second oldest big mountain competition after the Scandinavian Big Mountain Competition.

  • The Bec des Rosses lies in the Pennine Alps overlooking the Swiss resort of Verbier
  • From the top, you can view the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc
  • Routes down the face average between 55-60 degrees for over 2,600 vertical feet
  • This past year was the 20th anniversary of the competition being held on the legendary Bec des Rosses
