About a year ago, Steve Lawton of Austin, Texas had a near fatal ski accident at Breckenridge Ski Resort.  Sliding out of control on his back at 45 MPH Lawton went headfirst into a tree. As a result of the accident Lawton suffered from bleeding in the brain, a broken sternum, collapsed lungs and a torn artery. He also broke an arm, three ribs and six vertebrae.

Lawton was as near to death as anyone can get, but Lawton has recovered and believes that his testosterone levels helped save his life.

“Imagine suffering an injury so serious, that doctors are surprised you’re alive. It happened to one Austin man on a ski trip. In his case, maintaining proper hormone levels played a significant role in his physical and mental recovery.”
