Jackson Hole just picked up a foot of new snow bringing their season total to 313″. Here are some official photos of the latest dump.

Old Man Winter decided to return to the Tetons dropping a foot of fresh snow. It may be March but powder skiing has returned to Jackson Hole. This morning we went to check out the goods with ‘Cover Boy’, Tanner Flanagan, ‘POV Star’ Owen Leeper and, US Ski Mountaineering Team Member, Meredith Edwards.

We headed straight to the Grand for some good old fashioned Cowboy Powder (fresh powder on top of a groomed run). 5” of light density snow awaited the team. Tanner dives in.

After a quick lap inbounds the crew decided to go for a hike in the backcountry. Finding smooth snow underneath the powder was the name of the game today. The snow was very light density and moguls underneath could be felt if you didn’t pick the right spots. The Jackson Hole Backcountry Guides can take you to the goods. The views are not too bad either.

People know Meredith for going up, but the girl shreds.

With 311” of snow for the season and a snow depth of 89” on the upper mountain and 72” at mid mountain we are set to have a wonderful close to the season. Spring weather returns to the Tetons this weekend and we will be enjoying great corn skiing and live concerts.
