Rollerblading is easily the lowest hanging fruit when it comes to action sports to rip on but if you lived during their peak you owned a pair and rode them everywhere.  If you need to be reminded of how engrained rollerblading was into 90’s culture look no further than Airborne the movie…the unlikely tale of a california kid uprooted and dropped into the bleak winter landscape of Cincinnati, longing for perfect barrels and sunshine he finds solace in rollerblading in the end learning valuable lessons about perseverance and scoring a totally hot babe with high waisted jeans and bangs to boot. This movie is as important of a cultural timestamp as Premium Rush is to fixie riding.  Powerful.
