Designed by Yerka Project the basic premise is as follows…”Every lock can be broken leaving the bike intact. That’s why we decided to make a lock out of the frame.  The only way to steal it is to break the lock, which implies breaking the bike.”

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.  Of all things the basic design of a bike is one of the most difficult to improve upon but these 3 alumni of Adolfo Ibanez University in Santiago, Chile, managed to do so.  Might not be as versatile as a traditional U-lock when it comes to tricky locking situations (ie crowded bike rack or wrought iron fence) but its cool to see a new take on bike security.
