The skiing this morning was a blast with some tracked out spots off Lincoln and some nice powder stashes off lower Crow’s Nest. BUT THEN… Ski Patrol opened the gates into Sugar Bowl, Nancy’s Couloir, East Face, Market Street and Disney Nose and THAT was all time. The light was gorgeous and the snow, which felt to be a foot+ in places, was light and beautiful. Following the first lap I spun around to get back on the Disney Express when I heard a snowboarder behind me say to his buddy “Dude, that was the sickest run I have had in years!” Truth be told not all aspects were skiing that great. Skier left of Disney Nose is a mess with dust on crust conditions that is no bueno. However, that seemed to be the exception to an otherwise stellar day.
