Spring has sprung, and by spring I mean full blown summer has invaded the Valley.  If you missed this past weekend, you certainly didn’t miss any blower pow but you did miss out on a good time.

With high temperatures resting in the 70’s and a lack of overnight freeze, the past weekend was variable to say the least.  Fortunately we have finally pushed past the sticky slop and move into some smooth and granular corn farmin’.  With some wintery weather on tap for later this week, we may even ski pow again!

The week ahead:

Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 53. Southwest wind between 10 and 15 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. Southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Wednesday: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52. Southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Wednesday Night: Rain before 11pm, then rain and snow. Snow level 8300 feet lowering to 7600 feet. Low around 32. Windy. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Thursday: Snow showers likely. Mostly cloudy and windy, with a high near 40. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Thursday Night: A chance of snow. Partly cloudy and breezy, with a low around 27.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy and blustery, with a low around 31.
