David Carrier Porcheron (DCP) has been one of the most talented and well rounded snowboarders ever to come out of Canada. He’s competed in the US open halfpipe, the Westbeach Classic, filmed video parts with Mack Dawg, travelled the world with Burton’s UnInc team and successfully started a snowboard brand (Yes! Snowbaords). Starting out riding the icy halfpipes of Quebec, his riding has evolved making him a backcountry powerhouse and a role model to a generation.

When DCP isn’t helping to run YES! Snowboards, surfing, or shredding gnarly powder lines with Travis Rice, he’s giving back to the planet by planting trees in Costa Rica to offset his carbon footprint. DCP is also involved with POW (Protect Our Winters), a non-profit organization who’s mission is to “unite and actively engage the global snow sports community to lead the fight against climate change.”

Spy optics just released this video that documents his life over the last 20 years. Take a watch and get educated on how this rider has influenced our sport.
