snow in the forecast

For a winter that still hasn’t exactly started, last week was pretty darn fun around Tahoe.  The question is, will this upcoming week bring more of the light soft goodness like what we had in the above video??  Or will it prove to be yet another tease bringing high temps and…well…rain.

The forecast is looking more or less promising, with big totals for Tuesday/Wednesday:

Tuesday Night: Snow. Low around 29. Windy, with a south wind around 30 mph, with gusts as high as 50 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.

Wednesday: Snow showers. High near 41. Windy, with a south wind between 25 and 30 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches possible.

snow in the forecastYou can be fairly confident it’s going to be a good week.  Unfortunately Friday into Saturday is looking like things might get a bit variable.  What do you guys think? Pow? Mank?  Or will it split and miss all together?
