The East Coast is getting an unseasonal record breaking snow storm this Halloween weekend.  Which should be a damn good thing for Eastern ski resorts.

Halloween Weekend Nor Easter:

– 1,000+ flight cancelations

– 1.7 million people without power

– Over a foot of snow in spots

– Record October snow in NYC’s Central Park at 1.3″

– 45 mph wind gust forecasted along with downed trees and power lines

” In New York City, an encampment of several hundred members of the Occupy Wall Street movement protesting U.S. economic inequalities hunkered down in tents against wind, rain, sleet and snow.” –reuters.com
