With rain and thunderstorms bringing precipitation to our area the last several days, it didn’t snow, but it sure helped out our local mountain biking conditions.

Trails are riding exceptional right now. Sawtooth Ridge, Western States, the Rose area, it’s all pretty good at present. The precipitation has helped settle the relatively standard, dusty conditions we’re used to this time of year, and the riding is pretty phenomenal right now.

We may get a few more drops today, but the mass of unstable weather that’s been around all week is moving away from our area, and the next several days are forecasted for perfect Tahoe weather. As local mountain bikers know, every little drop of rain helps the riding conditions this time of year, and the condition change has been very noticeable the last few days. So take advantage and go get on your bike, borrow a friends, or rent one if you have to. Before the snow flies these windows of precipitation and perfect dirt are as much of a joy on the up as they are on the down, and you should make sure you get some while the gettin is this good.
