Video of Kenworthy’s winning run.

Gus Kenworthy and Devin Logan are on fire. Just yesterday they  both took gold at the 100% Pure NZ Winter Olympic Games ski slopestyle event. This comes a day after their half-pipe victories.

Kenworthy received a 87.75 on his winning run, while Jossi Wells was right on his heels with a 83.00. In third place was Nicholas Goepper with a 81.25.

Remaining focused and looking forward to today’s Big Air event, Kenworthy said, “It felt great to win again today, fingers crossed I’ll do the same on Saturday in the Big Air.”

Devin Logan took gold in the women’s division with 79.75 points. Her run consisted of a lip slide to switchout on the downrail, then frontside to two seventy out on the up cannon box and then a switch five to cork seven to a straight on 360 out of the last feature and scored. Pumped on her run she commented that, “I’m more stoked than ever right now. The switch five was new to me and I’m happy with how it went. The competition with Kim Lamarre was strong; she put me to the test and I knew I had to give it my all to win today.”

Barely behind Logan was Kim Lamarre with 79.25 points. In third place was Canadian Dara Howell with 70.5 points.
