The Deep Winter Photo Challenge has come and gone, and now it’s time to take a look at the event as a whole.  During the four days of the Deep Winter competition Ryan Regehr followed third place winner Andrew Strain and company, to see how they did business. Ryan shot and covered everything from the action photography to the awards. This video puts you in the snowboard boots of Andrew Strain, the up and coming photographer who was competing for the first time in the Deep Winter Photo Challenge. The video provides interviews with Andrew Strain, and  how Andrew got the shots of his 2011 Deep Winter slideshow. We will also see what it feels like to be the underdog and stand on the podium next to (super photographer) Blake Jorgenson.
