Casey Parked gets in some summer laps in Glacier National Park

GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, Montana – The real ones are the ones that never stop skiing, even if it’s summer and the snow is hard to come by. Casey Parked found some snow in Glacier National Park a few weeks ago, and while it may have been a little rocky, he was able to get in a few runs in the stunning mountains.

I head up to the park for a quick early summer ski down the Lunch Creek couloir below Pollock Mountain. It gets a bit cold, so I don’t stay up there for sunset, but I enjoy some nice turns and get to see some spectacular sunset views on the drive down the Going-to-the-Sun Road on the west side of Logan Pass. It’s a fun little outing.
