Residents of Summit County and Park County are invited to enjoy summer at Breckenridge Resort one hour before the public on select Fridays throughout July and August. According to Summit Daily, July 12, July 26, August 9 and August 23 will provide an early opening for community members from 9-10 a.m.

Community members will have the opportunity to take advantage of the Peak 8 Base Camp and Alpine Camp for free during the hour opening, including the alpine slide, Gold Runner coaster, and Gold Summit climbing wall. The Colorado SuperChair and the BreckConnect Gondola will provide early access to the area (the BreckConnect Gondola will open at 8:30am).

Residents who hope to partake should head to the base of Peak 8 for waivers and wristbands, arriving no later than 9:45am. All guests will be asked to purchase tickets for activities after 10am.

The community summer first tracks program follows the success of the community winter first tracks program introduced two winters ago, allowing community members to access the slopes early every Friday throughout January.
