2024-25 Epic Passes Are On Sale Now

If you’re a fan of ski industry season pass news, this is the most wonderful time of the year. Last week, the Indy Pass announced its pass prices, with it being on sale now. On the other side of the spectrum, Vail Resort has released the 2024-25 Epic Pass.

Priced at $982, the Storm Skiing Journal & Podcast reports that the price for the Epic Pass is up 8% compared to last year’s pass. In comparison, last season’s Epic Pass price was $909. For those who enjoy skiing at Vail properties, but don’t like to ski during holiday periods, the Epic Local Pass and Northeast Value Pass are the best deals.

Probably the most underrated Vail product is the Epic Day pass. For as low as $44 a day, you can get a lift ticket that you can use any day of the season. I’ve purchased Epic Day Passes in the past, as it’s a great value to get some turns in at your local mountain, which for me is Mt. Sunapee.

For partners, Crans-Montana is expected to join the Epic Pass and Epic Local, as Vail Resorts is planning to complete the acquisition soon. In Japan, the small White Resort Hakuba Sanosaka has joined Vail’s already extensive partner network in the country.

Next season will see the expansion of My Epic Gear, allowing guests to carry less luggage with them on their ski trips. The mobile Epic Pass will also expand up north, as it will be introduced at Whistler Blackcomb for the 2024-25 season.

For more information about next season’s offerings, the official press release from Vail Resorts is below.
