These Ski Areas Will Be OPEN For Memorial Day Weekend

If you’re looking to go skiing or snowboarding this Memorial Day weekend you’re in luck. A handful of ski resorts are still open for the 2022-2023 ski season. Thanks to the huge snowfalls this year in the West, conditions cannot be better for the unofficial kick-off of summer.

Killington, VT

Arizona Snowbowl (Arizona): Although currently closed, Arizona Snowbowl plans to reopen on Saturday, May 27, in just 2 days.

Palisades Tahoe (California): Palisades Tahoe, formerly known as Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, is open and provides access to 80 trails serviced by 6 lifts.

Mammoth (California): Mammoth ski area is open with a generous selection of 86 trails and 10 lifts for skiers and snowboarders.

Arapahoe Basin (Colorado): This ski area is currently open and offers 14 trails along with 2 lifts for visitors to enjoy.

Winter Park (Colorado): Winter Park is currently open, offering 41 trails and 3 lifts for skiing enthusiasts to enjoy.

Beartooth Basin (Montana): Beartooth Basin will open for the season on May 26. Beartooth Basin is North America’s only summertime only ski area.

Timeline (Oregon): Timberline is open daily from 8am – 3pm with a 88″base depth at the lodge at 6,000′.

Snowbird (Utah): While currently closed, Snowbird intends to reopen tomorrow, Friday, May 26, welcoming visitors back to its slopes.

Killington (Vermont): Killington is currently closed, but
Plan to reopen on Friday, May 26.
