Stephanie Cox has been named the new Executive Director of the National Ski Patrol. The question is whether she will be able to solve the various problems that are facing the struggling organization. I’ve written in the past couple of months about the various problems that face the National Ski Patrol. They’ve had multiple high-level executives leave in recent years, with them blaming the Board of Directors for the dysfunction that exists.

In the National Ski Patrol’s defense, Stephanie Cox looks like an excellent hire. Before joining the National Ski Patrol, she was the executive director of World Child Cancer, which is an international charity working to solve inequality in childhood cancer care around the world. Some of her other recent positions have included being the Founder and CEO of The Level Market (a business-to-business marketplace for aid supplies), and COO of Nokero International (a solar lighting company). Stephanie has a very impressive resume, so hopefully, she can enact the changes needed to improve the National Ski Patrol without interference from the Board of Directors. An official statement from the National Ski Patrol is below.
