Copper Mountain, CO created this promo commercial back in 2010, and it might be the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen… 😂
The promo was a $39 lift ticket for anybody who showed their season pass from another mountain at Copper.
Sounds like a great deal, but calling it a “swinger’s pass” and creating a commercial where the viewer wants to fornicate with a cartoon Copper Mountain at the bar is beyond strange.
Despite my criticism on the weirdness of this commercial, I gotta hand it to the marketers at Copper Mountain for creating an eye-catching and memorable commercial.
It would have been way too easy to just create a cookie-cutter powder skiing montage with a catchy jingle to promote the deal. Instead they went for a full-on indie-animation commercial with deep sexual innuendos. Bravo!
