Burton Exec Blunders Defense of Business In Xijiang, China Despite Ongoing Genocide

Me, watching this clip for the 5th time, still in disbelief at what I just saw/heard.

Burton’s PR team must be having an absolutely terrible day.

That’s not to draw away from the fact that the Uyghur Muslims in Xijiang are being thrown into encampments, raped, and killed, but I honestly feel bad for anybody at Burton trying to pick up the pieces after Burton China Chief Executive Craig Smith did the interview below with BBC. What a moron.

Smith was questioned about Burton China’s operation in Xijiang, where the majority of the Uyghur Genocide is taking place. His answers were an absolute disaster.

He practically says, ‘We don’t care about what’s going on to the Uyghur Muslims. Our goal is to make the most money we can from the impending snow sports boom following the Olympics.’, at least that’s what I heard.

It’s almost unbelievable that an interview like this could even happen nowadays. Most execs have extensive media training to prevent them from saying downright stupid shit like this.
