South Korean Ski Resorts Reopen Amid Omicron Concerns

The slopes of South Korea’s northern Gangwon province are beginning to reopen after the government shutdown all tourist attractions in December, 2021 due to a rise in coronavirus infections. Regulations stipulate all skiers and snowboarders are subject to a temperature check. Night skiing is not allowed at all premises, and slopes and restaurants have to close by 9pm.
