Markus Eder dropped an absolute bombshell of a GoPro ski edit over on his YouTube channel. The Italian free skier ripped an insane line through Stelvio Pass, Italy that includes multiple road gaps, big airs, and spicy snow. I couldn’t help but draw comparisons to Candide’s ‘One of Those Days’ series.
Videos like this really humble my beliefs that I’m a “good” skier. I can slice and dice my way down double blacks at just about any ski resort, but I could never in my wildest imagination send road gaps on melting snow on a high alpine pass… Some people will just always be better than you, I guess.
I’d say that Eder did a pretty damn good job paying tribute to Candide!
