Fox 61, a news outlet in Hartford, CT, is covering the incredible comeback story of Katie LaPierre.
Katie, a nurse, was severely injured in a freak skiing accident back in March that broke multiple vertebrae in her back, lacerated her splein, and has left her with multiple pins in her pelvis.
Despite the traumatic injury, Katie is well on her way to a full recovery to walking again, and getting back to the job she loves- nursing.
I can’t help but smile anytime I stumble across a story like Katie’s. All of us here at Unofficial Networks wish Katie a speedy recovery, and we hope to see her back out on the slopes someday! 🙂
