An old 110 volt 1hp boatlift motor this dude’s Uncle Terry had kicking around his garage now serves as super simple power source to a backyard towrope that I think could be easily recreatable for anyone with a pitch to their property. Might want to hire an electrician to wire it up but this could get you riding uphill at a totally reasonable cost. Food for thought:
