According to ESPN, Olympic legend Bode Miller has announced that he is launching an online academy designed for downhill skiers, snowboarders, cross country skiers, and more.

The academy will start virtual, due to COVID-19, but Bode plans on establishing a physical location near Big Sky, MT.

Bode is teaming up with the Institute for Civic Leadership Academy to cover the academic side of the program. He will lead the creative team, and share his dry-land workouts, training, and prep that led him to win a gold medal in Vancouver.

The school will cost $13,000 per year. Not a crazy number for a high school education, AND world-class mentor ship from Bode Miller himself.

Would you pay for your kids to attend this school?

I’m not sure I would sign them up for the online classes, but once he builds that school out at Big Sky… sign my kids up! I’m shipping their butts to Montana and telling them:

“Go make your dad proud and win a gold medal!”
