Norwegian Ski Area Currently Has A Base of 636″ Of SNOW!

The Fonna glacier ski area in Norway is reporting a 15.9 meter (53 foot) base after a May blizzard dropped an additional metre (40 inches) of snow on the ski hill this past weekend. According to Snow-forecast, the Norwegian ski area opened for its 2020 season a few weeks ago after Norway eased its lockdown rules.

The weekend storm forced the ski hill to close as lifts and buildings were dugout and cleared of snow.

Photos from the resort are remarkable.
