Solo Snowboarder Triggers Avalanche (Always Ride With A Buddy)

There’s no room for argument that riding solo in the backcountry is inadvisable. Here’s an excellent example of the dangers. If this snowboarder had been buried by the avalanche he triggered there would more likely be a recovery than a rescue. Buddy up before traveling in the backcountry, your avy gear is worth fuck-all if you’re the only one pinging:
