Back in 2018, we had the opportunity to go heli-skiing with Northern Escape and let us tell you, the place is the real deal.
Located in Canada’s Coastal Range, their ski terrain regularly sees over 1,000″ of snowfall a season. What makes this place even more incredible is its vast terrain. The operation has access to 2100+ square miles/1.34 million acres. To put that in perspective, Whistler Blackcomb ski resort has just over 8,000 acres. So… Northern Escape’s terrain would be equivalent to a combined 163 Whistler Blackcomb’s or over 500 average-sized ski resorts.
