South Dakota Ski Resort For Sale ($3.25 Million /442+ Acres)

Two years after Deer Mountain ski resort shut down amid bankruptcy proceedings it has popped up on the market for sale. The Sacramento Bee reports in September 2017 Kansas City-based Milan Investment Club was the sole bidder at a sheriff’s auction of the foreclosed property.

They paid almost $3.8 million for the resort and ski runs. Since then the 440-acre ski resort in western South Dakota has been cleaned up, repaired and upgraded with a new water system that services residences near the resort.

“We’ve got some things straightened up and put it up for sale. For our use, we put the property up for sale at what we understand is the fair market value.“-Milan Investment Club Spokesman Bill Phillips Spokesman 

The Black Hills ski area is listed at $3.25 million. Anyone up for buying a ski resort?
