Canadian Farm Boy Turned Olympic Skier Used A Tractor To Practice 14 Hours A Day

The lack of topography in flat as a board Saskatchewan Canada didn’t stop Jungle Jim Hunter from the daily training required to realize his dream of becoming an Olympic skier.  Jim took every opportunity that farm life afforded him to hone the on hill skills he would need to compete at the 1972 and 1976 Winter Games. Can you imagine doing 1,500 pre-jumps while trying not to crash heavy machinery? Thats what I call “farmer strong”:
