A recent autopsy report is shedding light on the demise of a young couple who fell to their death from Yosemite’s Taft Point back in October.

According to the Mercury News,  the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department autopsy indicates that 20 year-old husband, Vishnu Viswanath and his wife, 30 year-old Meenakshi Moorthy had been drinking alcohol prior to the fatal accident. No drugs are reported to have been in either’s system at the time of death.

In a previous instagram post, Moorthy depicted herself by a cliffside and even pondered via social media the risks inherent in posing for such photos saying, “is our life just worth one photo?”
