Skier Seriously Injured In Avalanche Just Beyond The Jackson Hole Boundary

On Christmas Eve, a 31 year-old skier was seriously injured in an avalanche while skiing Spacewalk Couloir just beyond the boundary of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort reports the JH News and Guide.

Details are limited thus far but local sources have indicated the victim sustained a hip and leg injury. He was transported down the chute with the assistance of ski patrol and rescue personnel before being evacuated via helicopter.
