The exhibition extends over 2 floors on 1300 m². In 9 rooms the visitor gets an insight into the filming of a James Bond movie. Additionally, visitors get spectacular views of Tyrol’s mountains and valleys, including the original filming-spots of Specter in Sölden”
Hoping to one day experience this 007 exhibit at Sölden, Austria. The Bond series has a rich history of skiing in its films so its fitting an install like this would be at the summit of a world class resort. Its €22 for adults and if you plan on going remember to dress warm because the its unheated! Not sure if they have a bar but if they do I know what I’m getting😉.
***ATTENTION: The installation is not heated! Warm clothes are recommended.
Now open, 007 ELEMENTS is a world-first — a cinematic installation dedicated to the world of James Bond.
The installation focuses on the most recent film, Spectre, which was shot in Sölden, but also showcases the other titles in the 24-film series. It is housed inside a beautiful, bespoke building designed and constructed by Obermoser arch-omo zt gmbH inside the summit of the Gaislachkogl Mountain in Sölden, more than 3,000-metres above sea level.
The collaboration between the project’s creative director, Neal Callow (Art Director on Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre), and the creative team at Optimist Inc. led by Tino Schaedler has produced an immersive, interactive, and informative experience that reveals how the world of 007 is made. The aim of 007 ELEMENTS is to tell the story of the making of 007 films through an ultra-modern, emotive and engaging experience while using the incredible location to place guests in Bond’s environment and bring the stories to life in a unique and unforgettable way.
