Wildfires from Southern California to Oregon continue to burn up the west coast and the effects are being felt all the way from Lake Tahoe to Denver.

Smoke enveloped the majority of the west this week as a high pressure system moved over the rockies. Luckily, that system is breaking down today as intermittent showers are being reported over Colorado and Utah. Further north however, Wyoming and Montana will see hazy skies all weekend and here’s why…

Red Flag warning are in effect across much of California as dry weather accompanied by high winds will create bad fire conditions this weekend. Thankfully, the jet stream is giving CO, UT residents a break. The Northern Rockies will continue to experience hazy skies throughout the weekend.
