Silverthorne, Colorado’s finest, Red Gerard is an olympic gold medalist in slopestyle after putting down a banger final run at the age of 17.

Gerard’s win keeps the gold medal in the United States for the time being ever since Sage Kostenburg won the same event in Sochi in 2014. Gerard beat out Max Parrot (*silver) and Mark McMorris (*bronze) to top the podium with a score of 87.16. Congratulations to Red Gerard on fantastic accomplishment for his age as well as hilarious post-event interview.
