BUYER BEWARE: Steamboat Springs Resort officials want to get the word out that scammers are selling counterfeit lift tickets on Craigslist to skiers and snowboarders looking to save a few bucks only to have the victims realize the fraud once they try to pick up the tickets at the resort. The scam is not limited to Steamboat and it should be noted that reselling lift tickets in Colorado in any form is against the law.
If you are trying to save a few bucks by buying a lift ticket on the secondary market you are doing so at your own risk. Be Smart, Be Safe, Keep It Classy, Have Fun.
