Vail Residents Busted For Attempting to Trade 4 Pounds Of Weed For Cop’s Car

When it comes to trading 4 pounds of weed for any particular good– you better be damn sure you know the person on the other end of the transaction.

Such is the folly of this couple (*pictured below). According to the Vail Daily, Shawn Langley and Jane Cravens offered to trade 4 pounds of the good shit for a car on Craigslist. Little did they know that the person who owned the car was a member of the Teller County Sheriff’s Department.

A public information officer, Jason Mikesell was attempting to sell his non-police SUV on the website when he received a text message from the accused that suggested a trade of 4 pounds of marijuana for his car. Follow up texts included photo evidence of the weed in question.

The average price for a pound of GANJA ranges between $2-3k

After a setting up a successful sting, officers arrested the two and their court hearing is scheduled for next Monday. Good luck explaining this one to the judge…
