So in order to catch the trend, Sterbenz ditched his race loving sponsor, Fischer Skis, and went ahead to start his own ski company that would represent the next generation of skiers.

“[Founding 4FRNT] was done purely out of passion… I guess a little piss and vinegar towards my ski sponsor at the time who wanted to revert back to ski racing” – Matt Sterbenz

From sponsoring Olympians to freeriding with McConkey @Squaw, the founder of 4FRNT Skis is an industry vet who was just acquired by Jason Levinthal’s J Skis. In this episode, Mike finds out what’s next for the innovative ski maker.
