Science & Nature Specialist John Hollenhorst hiked to The Great Basin desert glacier to meet up with scientists who are trying to establish how it is faring in the era of global warming. The glacier has survived for ten of thousands of years on the border of Utah and Nevada despite the area’s notoriously hot and dry climate.
