Anyone born before 1995 knows just how bad ski equipment can be for young kids– let along girls. Coalition Snow is here to change that with a new Kickstarter Campaign they hope will allow their company to fund a new line of skis and boards built specifically for young women.

Started in Lake Tahoe by a group of women who wanted to the end the manufacturing practice of “shrink it and pink it,” Coalition Snow wants to provide the same top-notch technology found in most skis today and apply it to youth skis– for females.

The campaign is already approaching $30,000 of their $50,000 fundraising objective and they are just a few big donations away from crafting durable and playful skis for a burgeoning market of young girl skiers.
