VIDEO: Jackson Hole Crews Erecting Temporary Wooden Electric Poles

YouTube Poster

Lower Valley Energy crews are hard at work erecting wooden poles to temporarily hold the downed power line that knocked out electricity to Jackson Hole Mountain resulting in a complete shutdown of the resort.

This is from Lower Valley Energy’s Facebook Page
“11 replacement poles in the ground! A quick break for dinner and respite from wind and rain. Then more night work.”

If you are in Jackson and looking for a refund for lift tickets go to Hoback Sports in the Town of Jackson. If you are trying to fly out of Jackson you should be alright. The Jackson Hole Airport is running on generator power and is fully operational, some flights may be effected by weather elsewhere in the US.
