The folks at the sacForecasters just posted this silent but terrifying video of split-boarder nearly getting swallowed by a slow covered crevasse on Echo Peak in the backcountry near Lake Tahoe. Currently there are no further details available about the incident but looks like the dude Wolverined it and rode away unscathed. This video should serve as a warning to this type of dangerous feature exists around Lake Tahoe and should be avoided at all costs.
