As Donald Trump proceeds down Pennsylvania Avenue today, tens of thousands of unified women are marching to protest the man whose penchant for demeaning their gender knows no bounds.

In support of those women and all who oppose the views espoused by President Trump, Burton is financially supporting its employees who wish to ‘March On Washington.’ In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Burton’s CEO Donna Carpenter said they would pay for two nights lodging and up to $250 in plane tickets for any Burton employee who wants to join her and other women marching in protest of the incoming President of the United States.

“I knew there would be a lot of Burton women who were making the effort to get down to Washington. They’re that type of people. We’re in Vermont, in Bernie-land. I had a lot of employees who were volunteering for Bernie [Sanders]. But it’s a long way from Burlington to Washington, D.C. For me, it’s all about numbers. What they need are numbers to make a point.” – Donna Carpenter, CEO Burton Snowboards (*Quote courtesy of Cosmopolitan)

25 people have taken Carpenter up on her offer thus far and as of today more employees, both compensated and not are expected to join her in the protest.
