It’s not often that you get a behind the scenes look at massive resort’s initial planning stages. We reported in August, the BC Government gave initial approval to move forward with Valemount Glacier Destinations’ plan to construct North America’s first 4-season ski resort. The master plan was accepted for review on October 19th:
“We are working diligently to build an unparalleled mountain destination in cooperation with the people of Valemount and the Simpcw First Nation. Our goal is to achieve a Master Development Agreement with the Province by the Spring of 2016. Construction is expected to begin shortly thereafter.” -President and CEO of VGD Oberto Oberti
