You may think of Danny Davis’s Peace Park is just a friend fest camouflaged as a corporate sponsored snowboarding event but the influence of laid back session style snowboard summit is being felt in the upper echelon competitive riding this year.
The Dew Tour will adopt aspects of the Peace Park this year starting in Breck. Instead of the predictable slopestyle course with a rail section up top followed by a jump line, the two elements will be ridden separately. Also the halfpipe will include a hip-jump in and a waterfall jump out.
Peace Park 2016 will be televised nationally on Sunday, November 27, 2016 during ABC’s weekly ‘World of X Games’ series at 2pm ET / 1pm.
