“This season was bizarre, to say the least, but we’re going to get every turn we can out of the 200 or so inches of snow that did fall.” -Steve Wright, Jay Peak’s General Manager.

Jay Peak has been in the press quite a bit lately after a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation into an alleged $400 million Ponzi Scheme, but there is a glimmer of good news for folks that actually ride the mountain and don’t just read about it.

Jay Peak will reopen April 30 and May 1 for what has been dubbed the “May As Well Celebration” as reported by pitchengine.com. Lift tickets will be $20 for all ages.  Embroiled in scandal the future of the resort is uncertain, but at least you can ride it one last time before it shutters for the season.
