A large storm is moving into the west and Big Sky is looking to be smack dab in the middle of what appears to be one of the final winter storms of the 2015/2016 season. Also, it doesn’t hurt that it’s the final weekend that Big Sky will spin lifts for what should be a mostly local crowd.

As of now, WePowder.com is forecasting up to 35″ for the resort over the course of the next 6 days!

Although the storm appears to come in warm, high mountain snow will be likely during the majority of the system and as the week progresses, snow levels should drop to near or below valley level.

The majority of that snow is projected to fall between Thursday night and Saturday morning with snowfall reaching peak intensity on Friday.
