Skiing is the best sport in the world. However, a few missteps can make skiing uncomfortable, painful, and downright shameful.

Here are the Things You Should Never Do Skiing | Pt. 1

– Wearing 2 Pairs Of Socks

Wearing 2 pairs of socks will guarantee loss of circulation as well as heinous blisters that will make the genital warts images you saw in middle school health class a not so distant memory.

– Leaving Your Boots Unbuckled

Leaving your boots unbuckled after a day of skiing is a cardinal sin for any ski bum. It ruins the shape of your liner and shell and will leave your feet begging for mercy.

– Hiking With Goggles On Your Head

It doesn’t matter how short the hike, putting your goggles on your head for that bootpack ensures a miserable ride down. There is no worse way to ruin a sick run then executing this misstep.

– Claiming First Chair The Night Before

In the words of Ernest Hemingway, “Always do sober what you said you’d do drunk. That will teach you to keep your mouth shut.”

– Calling Last Run

Claiming “last run” is a sure fire way to get injured. Bottomline, your legs aren’t ready for the mach looney speeds mandated by calling “last run.”
