Gear Reviewed:  Levi’s Relaxed Fit, 34/32, Boot Cut.  No gaiters.

Reviewer:  Adolf Oliverbush

After picking up my pass this morning while running errands for the day, I couldn’t resist taking a few laps. I had my boots and skis in the truck, but nothing else. I scrounged up a smorgasbord of clothes and make shift gear stuffed under seats of my truck and pieced together the most epic ski outfit the mountain has seen this year. Thus, my first Gear Review of the season…. Skiing in Jeans.

Admittedly it took a few runs to realize that I wasn’t getting sideways glances of an awe-inspiring nature because I was getting rad. It was when bent over to make a boot adjustment when my ego deflated in realization that the glances weren’t for my radness, but more for my Levi Ski Pants. Shocking, right?

Overall review of skiing in Levis

  • You don’t have to change before skiing,
  • You don’t have to change after skiing.
  • You’re ready for après, a night out, or going to work.
  • You look like some ones dad.
  • Good conversation starter on long Red Dog lift ride.
  • It screams, “Hey, look at me. I don’t give a shit.”

CONS:

  • You’re après, night out, or work pants are wet
  • You look like some ones dad.
  • You have to explain to people why you are wearing jeans on a really long Red Dog lift ride.
  • You look more retarded than a skittle thug park rat.
